Kameron Burnham

Hello, Tigers!

My name is Kameron Burnham, and I have been a Tiger my whole life! I attended Southeast schools from kindergarten through my senior year, so needless to say, I have a very deep love and appreciation for our school and community. After graduating from Southeast High School in 2006, I continued my education at Meridian Community College and transferred to Mississippi State University and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English. I began my teaching career at Northeast High School where I taught numerous English courses for four years. During that time, I completed my Master’s degree in Secondary Education and my Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from William Carey University. After teaching for four years, I returned home to Southeast to continue teaching in the English classroom, and after another four years in the classroom, in 2019 I had the privilege of becoming the assistant principal at Southeast High School.

I am married to my husband Lance Burnham, who is the vice president of BankPlus here in Meridian. We have two beautiful daughters, Sadie who is eight and in third grade and Ruby who is seven and in second grade, both at Southeast Elementary. We are active members of Cokers Chapel Church and enjoy seeing our girls grow in their faith with their community friends and family.

I love our Southeast Community with all my heart, and I am ecstatic to continue to serve our students and their families!
