As an educator, I believe I was called to inspire and uplift the children in my community—and anywhere else life’s journey may lead me. I am deeply motivated by the words of the late Nelson Mandela, who reminds us that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

I hold firmly to the belief that every child can learn and that all students are capable of growth when given the right support and encouragement. It is an honor and a joy to serve the very district that shaped me as a student and continues to shape who I am as an educator.
