Courtney Smith

My name is Courtney Smith and I am excited to be entering my first year as head coach of the Lady Tiger Volleyball team! Throughout my teaching career, I have coached fastpitch softball and competitive cheerleading at the high school level. I graduated in 2015 from Sumrall High School and continued my education at Pearl River Community College before transferring to the University of Southern Mississippi to obtain my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education. I have been teaching Foundations of Algebra and Algebra 1 since I started my teaching career. 

I married my husband, Josh, in December of 2022 and we are currently living in his hometown with our labradoodle, Piper. 

I have enjoyed being a part of the Southeast family this past year and I look forward to a great season with our Lady Tigers!
