Our SHS Powerlifting teams recently competed in their statewide competitions, and two of our students walked away with the GOLD! AnnLee Haney won first place in her weight class at the female powerlifting tournament and Caleb Fowler won gold in his class of males. We had several other males who placed in their respective weight classes, as well. Josh Miller, Yojonte Naylor, and Hema Ravichandran placed second in the state, Gerod Holiday and Quin Hill placed third in the state, and Trey Carlisle and Anthony Nguyen placed fifth in their weight classes. We are so proud of our medalists and their coaches, Rico Patterson and Darryl Jones.
