Kyle Malone is an attorney with the Mississippi Office of Capital Post-Conviction Counsel. He lives and works in Jackson, but represents all inmates who are on death row and protects their rights. He spoke to Law and Public Safety students about death row and the job of representing death row inmates to make sure their rights are protected and that they receive the fairest process possible.
Mr. Malone has been a military policeman, a Ridgeland police officer, and is currently an attorney. He has worked his way through the criminal justice system, and has a wealth of knowledge to share with our students. He was a classmate in high school of Mrs. Amber Cooksey, and she invited him to speak at our school. We appreciate him making time for our students, and they learned so much today. He encouraged our students to remember that choices that they make today can impact their lives forever.
