Juniors Desarae Skinner and Ethan Martin along with Senior Savannah Davis have been chosen to serve on the 2019-2020 state superintendent's student advisory council. This program allows students from across the state to give their input into topics and issues that affect students on a daily basis. The council will meet in the fall and spring with state superintendent Carey Wright to discuss these issues. Davis wants to consult with teachers and gain their input, but two of her main concerns are technology in the classroom and consistency in learning whether students are advanced academically or not. The three students will represent all of the schools in Lauderdale County, so they will meet with principals and Superintendent John Mark Cain to address issues facing the all LCSD students. We are proud of these three super students, and we know they will represent us well.
