Leann Vick

This is my 17th year as a teacher at Southeast Lauderdale High School and my first year to be the Assistant Athletic Director. I was the cheerleading coach for my first 7 years of teaching and the head boys soccer coach for the past 3 years. I am an alumnus of Southeast High School. While in high school, I played soccer, softball, and was a cheerleader for the Tigers. I attended Meridian Community College after high school where I was on the Eagles Women’s Soccer team for two years. After graduating with an Associate’s Degree from MCC in 2005, I went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Degree from the University of West Alabama in 2007. In 2009, I received a Master’s Degree in Secondary Teaching - Mathematics from Mississippi State University. I wrapped up my education in 2020 with an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership - Principalship from Arkansas State University. I am married to Todd Vick and we have two children. One child is a multi-sport athlete here at Southeast and the other is a competitive gymnast. When I’m not teaching or supporting our Tiger athletes, I enjoy hanging out with my family, reading a good book, and serving alongside our Highland Baptist Church family.
