Meet your School Counselor
Let me take a moment to introduce myself. I am Emily Gibson, and this is my third year at Southeast High School. For the last two years, I have taught Family Consumer Science classes and I am excited about serving as the school counselor this school year.
I am a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center and Mississippi State University. I am completing my 26th year in public education; 16 of those years have been as a school counselor (Neshoba Central High School and Quitman Upper Elementary). Six nieces and nephews keep me on my toes and on the road. I enjoy traveling and spending time with those I love.

My Schedule- Available Hours 7:30-4:00
Counselor Advisory Meeting: last Wednesday of every month.
Individual Counseling Sessions scheduled throughout the week.
Individual Student Planning scheduled throughout the week.
